The Ethnobotany Library in Occidental, north of San Francisco, is our headquarters and a remarkable site where you may visit and handle real books, which are, in fact, made from plants and about plants and plant knowledge! Or the books are about mushrooms or human cultures that know nature, and much more. 1400+ volumes of fascinating writing.

We host an annual Book Sale & Swap. The next one will be on Saturday, November 2, 2019. See our homepage for details.
