PlantWise: a newsletter

From 1990-1996, BD published an occasional newsletter on the topic of ethnobotany. Kat was the editor and primary author, but she attracted articles from others in the field. This newsletter was sold by subscription to supporters of BD. It was widely appreciated and even complimented in an article in the New York Times. Eventually, budget considerations required that it be put it aside, but we still receive requests for old copies and inquiries as to whether PlantWise will start up again, which it might, or it may be published as part of the BD website, which is currently being developed.
